I wanted to share a tip that I do on a daily basis that helps me everyday regarding all aspects of my life. It’s very easy to access and it is also free, yet a lot of people don’t do it.
If there was a way you could work on personal development and overall improving your life, would you do it? What if it was free, would that push you even more to try it?
What am I talking about exactly?
Podcasts.
I was recently introduced to podcasts when I started training for a job of mine. I always had an idea of what podcasts were, but I never knew anyone who used them or why they would listen to them. I had no idea how many different types of podcasts there were and how you could benefit from them. Which is why I am here to tell you how you can benefit from simply listening to a podcast when you are working out, drinking your morning coffee, or even taking a bath.
Some people might think this isn’t exactly wasted time, but I used to do all of those things – drink coffee, eat my meals, and take a bath and that’s it.
I like to be as productive as possible with my time (I do believe in breaks and not having to listen to podcasts ALL the time) but I also believe I can use my time more wisely by bettering myself and working on my personal development.
To get started, all you have to do is download the podcasts app. There are tons of podcasts channels to choose from.
How much time do you spend in the car driving to work? How much time do you spend in the car period?
Use that time more productively. Instead of listening to the radio station that is most likely telling you news about everything bad going on in the world, or playing the same song over and over, why don’t you plug in your phone into the radio and listen to a podcast?
Podcasts can drastically change your mood over the course of a day. Start your morning right by listening to an empowering podcast for free.

Some of my favorite podcasts channels are:
The Chalene Show – She is a workout enthusiast/trainer from Beachbody. She talks about a range of different topics and she’s quite outspoken as well, which is something I was quite surprised about. That’s what makes her channel awesome though! She’s real and quick to the point.
Beyond the To Do List – This is a great channel on everything I’ve been talking about above. You learn how to become more productive and use your time more wisely which is something we all need to work on.
Do you listen to podcasts? What are some of your favorite channels?
