The countdown to Christmas is officially on and now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s time to really get to work on your Christmas shopping. Finding the perfect gift for everyone on your list is hard.
But if you’ve got a frugal fashionista on your list to buy for, here are just a few gift ideas you should try.
Gifts Cards to Frugal Stores
If you know which stores your frugal fashionista frequents, you can easily get a gift card to one (or more) of them to help her get some of the things on her wish list. Places like Target, Old Navy, or her favorite second-hand clothing stores are great places to start.
Don’t Overlook the Details
If buying gift cards just isn’t your thing and instead you want to get her “something”, you usually can’t go wrong with an accessory or two.
Pay attention to what she wears when it comes to jewelry and accessories to pick up tips about her style and what types of things she likes. If she’s always wearing a scarf or a chunky bracelet, those are great places to start. Another way to find out what she’s wanting is to listen for clues. Most fashionistas will off-handedly mention now that then that they wish they had X, Y, or Z like so-and-so’s.
Pay for a Service
If you don’t want to fuel the fire by getting the fashionista in your life any more clothes or accessories, consider paying for a salon or spa service instead.
Getting your hair done, nails manicured, or a massage thanks to a gift is a great feeling, especially if it’s for something your frugal fashionista wouldn’t normally treat herself to. Just keep in mind that these services can only be used once where a gift of fashion will be worn over and over again.
Keep her Cozy
A cute sweater or wrap would make a great gift. If she already has tons of those, perhaps you could go with monogrammed slippers or a robe instead. Winter time is cold and dreary, but it can be brightened up with one of these cute and cozy gifts.
Entertain her Brain
A subscription to a fashion magazine is a great idea to inspire and entertain your fashionista friend for a whole year. Try and get a subscription to her favorite magazine if possible, but if you’re unsure go for one of the most popular fashion magazines out there, like Vogue or Elle.
If she’s not a reader you could get her a fashion focused film, like the Devil Wears Prada.
Fashionistas are not overly hard to find gifts for, especially if you know her taste. But even if you have no clue about style you can easily find a gift to please her with these ideas.
