2017 was a crazy whirlwind of a year for me as I did a 180 and completely changed my life. I made a decision at the end of 2016 that I was going to live a completely different life in 2017. I was unhappy with my career, the relationship I was in and tired of being tired. I spent A LOT of time at the end of 2016 figuring out what I wanted in my life. I wrote about it in my post How to Say What You Want to Get What You Want. This outlined some of the steps I took to completely transform my life.
I decided at the end of 2016 I wanted a completely different life experience and in 3 months I:
- Quit my consulting career of 7 years
- Sold my house in St. Louis
- Moved to Nashville, TN
- Got a new position in a field I’d never worked in before
- Bought a new house
A million other things lined up for me along the way on my journey and I went from a state of surviving to actually loving my life. As a result, everything in my life improved. I mean everything. New people came into my life, I made more money, I met amazing people, I had (and continue to have) awesome experiences that I never could have planned or even dreamed up.
I changed every single part of my life because I was tired of just existing. And I can honestly say I got everything I wanted (and much, much more) when I set my intentions for 2017.
As a result of all this change, I took 2017 off from my website and put it all on the shelf. Truthfully, I needed the break. I’ve been doing this a decade and it was time to take a step back and see what’s next.
This course is going to be different than what you’re used to when it comes to the topic of personal finance. Click To TweetNow that 2018 has kicked off, I’ve refocused and got some things into gear that were hanging out there that I was preparing for you. I’ll be telling you about one of those things very soon. And it includes the very process I used to change my life, applied to finances! It’s exciting, because it works. I’ve done it again and again and I’m so excited to tell you about it!
I can’t wait to share my Tame Your Finances (& Save $5,000 in the Process) course with you. Don’t forget to join me Thursday by registering here.
